last night I finished this article around 2am, I'd worked very hard on it and I was just finished, and I was about to go to sleep when I realized I had a rough draft of a paper due the next day. so I'm like "aw, crap." and I decide then and there I'm gonna go to sleep and wake up at 7 to do it. I wake up at 7 and I"m just way too tired so I set an alarm for 20 minutes later. I wake up 20 minutes later even though it feels like 5 seconds later, and I'm still too tired, so stupidly I do that again. I don't wake up after that one for some reason, in fact I don't wake up again until 8:28 when I'm like "ok, I wasn't screwed, but now I am."
but I stay calm under pressure and I jump out of bed, and take a look at my syllabus. ok, ok, last time we did a discussion of essay topics, so this time the rough is due, right? oh? no? what the hell?? it's due friday.... that's embarrassing.

so that's what I thought as I headed to breakfast to do my reading for the class, but when I got there I realized I had mixed up the date, and I had no reading because the first draft of the paper is in fact due, and then a second draft is due on friday, and then the final draft is due on monday. so now I've got plenty of time because all I need to do is come up with a good excuse, not a whole paper. so I decide that I'll just admit that I mixed up the dates, but don't worry, because I'll bring in a draft on friday ok?

and then it turned out not to be a big deal at all, she didn't even mention the first drafts

such a whirlwind of emotion and it's only 11:30!

welp, back to college then

that dream wrecked me. It was so good that waking up is a piece of shit, today. I'm going back to sleep. wish me luck

it's weird, it's like when I pull allnighters I get cocky and I'm just thinking, "fuck sleep, I don't need ya" but then once I finally do go to sleep, it's like... there's no way I'm not sleeping through philosophy. oh crap, I have philosophy homework, actually I guess I'll have to go tomorrow... but it's soo boring!

so I started blogging. It's more serious stuff than here, or more thought goes into each post, I suppose. I kind of forgot about this though... I might stop using this altogether (but it'll be here till the end of time, huh?)

philosophy I won't miss you!
it's 7:30 and I'm in the airport. I didn't sleep though allegedly I dozed for a few minutes with my dad because we were talking then alll of a sudden I wasn't sure what I was saying anymore and was really confusing him. Only slept 5 hours the night prior. If my flight gets in on time and I can hail a cab real quick, and the slip and slide of the roads helps us instead of kills us somehow, then I could get to class on time, but I might need to bring my suit case with me.

I have my first class of the new semester in about 7 hours, and I'm not even in the right state yet.

How's thatttt for fucking up a new years resolution?

I'm gonna read my LJ from my wii, then click that and play that game. I could play it from that site (wiicade.com) but it has ads and I wonder how the wii handles linking directly to the swf

what do y'all think of reviews? I have one movie reviewer I read, because more would be too many. But I read his review for every movie that comes out. He's only given 3 movies 4 star reviews this year (Borat, Inland Empire, Children of Men). I just read his Children of Men review and I WANNA SEE IT!!! First of all it sounds awesome, and second of all it has two extended shots according to the review. Those alone made it jump to the top of my most-wanna-see list.
